3 yeras back pay

a while ago i may have mentioned i got a 3 year backdated pay rise....well yesterday it showed up in my bank account...i got woken by the joyous yell of we just had 3 grand shoved into the bank wahoo.....followed by the cold hurtfull words"we can get a better car now"


oh well. :cry:


puts merlin catalouge back in the draw...



i am getting a motorbike to compensate tho...yay back to drinking lemonade at the pub again on fridays..

its going to be nice to have a decent car to be honest ...ive had nothing but old cars that keep dying on me for years and sucking all my money up...so today im going for a long drive to norwich(they only sell tractors in yarmouth) to see whats on offer in the car garages..then when thats done its my turn to go motor bike hunting.( i have 2 really good mountain bikes and a full shed so i dont really need another)

i am but a lowly paid council worker part time..if i had to pay tax on what i earn id be stunned.from what i understand its more related to people who have 2 jobs on paye in conjunction with benefits they recieve that has caused the prob( i think)...my big worry for years was family tax credit getting it badly wrong...they are worse than the tax office.. :shock:

bike wise the ajs daytona i was looking at a while ago is too much given that we need a bigger car(3 growing kids) so ive been looking at something like this which is half the price
