I Have four available fella,

1 x deore , and 3 x XTs, all 34.9dia dual pull , got two XTR 28.6s but they are bottom pull. :roll:

28.6mm Shimano FD M651 (DX level I guess) - just says Shimano on the cage. Top pull as off a 1992 GT. VGC. £8 posted. Can send you a pic if you pm me your email. Did include it in an ad for DX parts several days ago, with pic, if you can find that.

Sithlord, I know this might be painful for you, but whats the difference. This may Help, I'm building up a Dave Yates steel mountain bike to use for a long tour, so which one should I choose?

Well to be honest, I dont think there are any major differences in the two, apart from finish and weight, shifting I would say are about the same..


The XT mechs for sale are the ones at the back of the photo..

I feel we are on first name terms now, will an 8 speed chain work on all of your offerings, might any be too naroow for am 8 speed chain or not an issue?
