Desperately trying to put wider tires on my 1983 Fuji Touring Series IV. The 27 x 1 1/4 just don't quite do it for me. I understand Schwalbe makes a new HS113 27-inch tire that is 1 1/2in wide (40mm). Has anyone used these tires?
Not sure if they'll fit, but plan to give em a try. There just aren't many choices for 27inch wheels in the way of fatter tires. My fallback is to build us a set of 700c wheels to gain a little more room.
