26" wheelset suitable for touring

I am after an 8 speed pair of 26" wheels that are suitable for my touring bike build.

It is an old-ish steel framed Marin Muirwoods that I am slowly upgrading & making more suitable for a start into touring. I am after some strong wheels for the build next. Strong rims & decent hubs please!

What have you got?

Got 2 sets:

Mint (see attached photos) Brian Rourke built 7/8/9 speed Shimano M737 XT hubs & QR on black Mavic 217 rims c/w silver DT spokes (cassette not included) £100 plus postage

Used 7/8/9 speed Shimano STX-RC hubs & QR on silver Mavic 237 rims c/w silver spokes £40 plus postage.
Note the bearings are a little rough so I'll strip, clean & re-grease them this weekend & if OK will post up photos.

Both wheelsets are 32 spoke 3 cross lacing.

If you're near Derby / Notts / Jct 25 M1 then can inspect.

Dead simple hubs with a pair of bearings each end (New SKF in front) and foolproof screw on freewheel.

I'll have to check them over first but I have a set of 36 spoke shimano LX m570 hubs built 3x with sapim double butted spokes onto Mavic x517 rims all were nos when built & not had much use but I seem to think one may be slightly out of true, £50 posted if you are interested.
