Hmm, that's interesting - should be dead strong which is what I'm interested in . I take it that mtb saddle rails will fit it too? I've actually ended up buying a cheap ish 2 bolt post for the actual frame size I need without shim- 26.2. The clamp is bonded into the post which is not ideal but I think I'll wait till it arrives and see if I think it will be strong enough - If not I'll go for what you've suggested. Thanks for the heads up!
