2012 Chromag Aperture

I'm starting a build on a 2012 Aperture. I been riding a 2014 and I love it. Best bike ever for me. Anyways I was lucky to get a slightly smaller 2012 which should be a fun bike for ripping around town and some light jumping. Going to build it up with spare parts that I have. Sram 9 speed, Toro fork, and Chromag parts.

Mentioned before I love these frames - very underrated. Yours is looking nice but what the hell are those forks dude! I ran mince with coil U turn RS Sektors which are another really underrated product and would suit this down to the ground, can wind them down to 110 and lock them out for round town then open them up to 130 for the trails.

Budget build man...these forks already hanging in my garage. Eventually will like to upgrade them. Would like to throw on some sektors. I think the toros get a bad rap. The two pairs that I have had ran great just heavy as hell.

Re:

Fair enough, I can appreciate a 'run what you've already got' build. Mine always start off like that and then escalate.

You have any pics of your Chromag? I can't understand why there is not more Chromags on this site. Great bikes.

Sure.

Had to sell it in the end as the medium was just too small for me.

My 2012 is a Medium/Large. A little on the small side but at the max range for rider height for me. My 2014 is a large. I wanted something slightly smaller and got a good deal on it. Going t be more of a play bike for around town and jumping a bit.
