I acquired the bike from Lockdown Classics (https://www.facebook.com/LockdownClassics) at the end of 2022. It was my hope that my health would improve enough for me to ride. Unfortunately that hasn't been the case so it has been “man-cave-eye-candy” in my dehumidified “man-cave” for the past years. A job it does very well btw!
They carried out recommissioning work including all fluids, caliper rebuilds and new pads, prior to passing the MOT with no advisories.
I have just had the bike serviced in preparation to sell including oil change and new spark plugs and battery. It is in excellent condition as you'll see from the photos and should pass an MOT without issue. It is currently “SORN'd”.
Being a 2012 bike, I believe it's one of the last ones made and currently sits at 10,365 miles. It has a full history with a stamped book to around 8500 miles.
Also included are a factory workshop manual, shock pre-load spanners, the original Benelli “flip-out” key and two original spare keys and the service book etc. The V5 is in my name/ possession.
It does occasionally cut out at idle, but I have been advised that it just needs using! Something that sadly I haven't been able to do as I mentioned above.
A rare, standard and original, gorgeous bike; one of few bikes to receive a five star rating from MCN.
This really is a stunning machine that needs to be seen "in the flesh" to be fully appreciated - photos don't do it justice!
