Not exactly retro but nice nonetheless.

Just had these pics of my eagerly awaited Whiskeytown racer from Jeff at first flight.

Really looking forward to building it when it gets here

Absolutely lovely! Will be watching this eagerly... I'm VERY tempted to treat myself to a new one sometime next year.

How long has it taken? When I enquired Jeff did say it can take months.

Been waiting 10 months so far :roll: But to be fair I did make a couple of alterations

Mods can you move this to readers bikes 98 --> as I posted it in the wrong place

Basically I'm going to bling it up a bit with some blue annodising (but not too much)

Current build plans are:

White fox float rlc100 forks which I may colour match orange at a later date
Nos m952 shifters and front and rear mechs
New sram 990 cassette with pimpy orange centre
Nos blue flite ti saddle
Nearly new grey anodised raceface turbines wuth blue anno middleburn rings
Mint syncros ti seatpost and silver stem
New blue hope headset, seatclamp and skewers
Mint blue xlite xc bars (flat naturally)
Hope mono mini brakes (the mainly silver ones) hopefully soon i'll get some blue floating rotors for them
Got an all black bontrager race wheelset to go on the bike but have a set of black syncros rims that i'm gonna get built onto some blue hope hubs when funds allow
Black nobby nics tyres and unsure on grips (maybe orange, maybe blue or maybe clear I can't decide)

Also got a virtually nos black super rare mountain goat seatpost that I might use on it but that would mean getting a black stem or a colour matched orange one :roll: (probably syncros)
