2009 Merida Carbon hardtail

This is my new modern ride,put it together last week.

It rides amazing,got some DTSwiss forks to put on yet as the Fox are overkill due to the frame being designed around an 80mm fork,should knock 1/2lb weight off too as the foxes are made of iron

Its currently weighing in at 21lb 11oz which isnt bad i suppose and it is a 20" frame aswell.

why are your bars tipped forward so? looks funny, and i think the front mech is too low, you should really set it with the big ring on, then remove the big ring

No mate Spesh still alive and kicking,had a cleaning frenzy today

The bars are tipped forward as i wanted a tiny bit more reach when riding and dont want to replace the stem,the front mech is that low to stop/avoid the chain coming off on decents.

whats the bare frame weight then? The gearing looks extremely high? more like a road bike rear Cassette? whats the front small ring? it looks fairly big too?
