Had to clean this up before fitting the front brake cable.
Safe to say it’s staying like this and the black painted original badge will stay in the toolbox.

Bike is fully built but I just need to adjust the derailleur a bit, I'll get daytime pics taken tomorrow.
in the meantime I fitted a wee extra for my old friend and constant travelling companion.

I'm excited about Scott getting out on the road on this.
Given he's a glaswegian, there are loads of as-yet undocumented yet fascinating bridges in his urban neighbourhood he could visit on the giant:
