Here is my latest addition to the stable....

Started with the frame and built the following.....

Suspension - Rock Shox SID
Bars - Syncros
Stem - Syncros
Bar Ends - Onza
Headset - generic
Shifters - Shimano XTR
Brake levers - Shimano XTR
Brakes - Shimano XT V Brakes
Grips - GT Lock-on
Seat - Vetta SL
Seatpost - Syncros
Seatpost Clamp - GT
Cranks - White Industries with XT rings
Pedals - Shimano SPD
Bottom Bracket - Shimano 68mm
Derailures - LX Front and XT Rear
Wheelrims - Mavic X139
Hubs - Deore
Tyres - Kenda Small Block 8
Bottlecage - Fluid

Looks good, but get some proper tyres on there

Didnt fancy disc brakes :?

Will change the tyres down the track.

Im using Small Black's as they are good off road and they have low resistance for commuting.

Dont have any disks brakes in my collection so V's are the go.

Decided on a re-build on this as I had some disc brakes and picked up some new shocks......

Still undecided if this is the way to go or if I should go back to the original build of Sids and V Brakes....

Still a bit of work to do......

Lovely bike, I like a good zaskar.
I think both builds look good, but if I am honest i definitely prefer the look of the blue sids and V's. However I have a set of reba's on a modern bike and they are amazing so I can see why you might stick with them.
