2003 Bianchi San Remo Tourer

I picked this up from the New Forest Bike Project a month ago and its sat in the garage until now and I need to decide what to do with it.
Good points:
It has a steel frame
It's a Bianchi in Celeste paint
It has a full Campagnolo groupset except brakes which are Avid 6 cantis
It has massive tyres clearances

Bad Points:
The paint is terrible, I have never seen so many rust pits
The groupset is Mirage

I will strip it down and see what needs doing.

So far so good on the tear down. Everything is in good shape. Just about to tackle the BB. Are they LH and RH threads same as English or do the Italians do it different?

OK I have worked it out . Stcker saying it conforms to BS6102 therefore standard English threads.

Have the BB out now, all good. This frame is good to go.

Question now is do I go for a full new paint job?

BSA bottom bracket right cup, left hand thread, left cup, right hand thread. Italian BB right hand both sides.
Sticker at bottom of seat tube, wouldn't have thought it was worth a full repaint.
Dyslexia edit sorry.
