I’ve been deliberating what forks to build the bike with.
After a few weeks hunting about, these came up on eBay.
Period to the frame and the first SID I’ll have owned.

The forks arrived this morning, so its just about there for building up.
2000 Rock Shox SID, the same year as the frame and other parts too, which is good. These are pretty damned tidy in all fairness.
I also made a start today cleaning up the WTB SST saddle I bought for the build.
This will be fine for now, as I have had the chance of a NOS one with red kevlar, which I think will compliment the forks well.
I have also bought a USE Seat Post, that is due, as the Syncros seat post shown, is broken, and not really worth sorting. This USE just needs a fresh decal, but I can sort that when I decide what decals to put on the frame.
I thought I'd best get a picture off all I have so far for it, X-Lite Carbon bars and a BB to arrive next week, and I will then make a start.
The stem shown on the RSP550 is not the one I will be fitting, as its currently on my 1998 M-Trax 350! That will be getting swapped over.
