20" Merlin Mountain Frame

hi there,

this is my first post in this forum which i discovered lately. So cool that there are more people like-minded with the passion for the old and handcrafted MTBs of the past.

Like many others i had a classic bike when i was younger, sold it when i didn't ride anymore and now got back into it (after getting sick of looking at all the new bikes…..all looking the same way). Mine was a Merlin Mountain frame and i have decided to get it back for good now. Have seen lots of great bikes around here, amazing stuff, but i am less of a collector just looking for that one bike.

Since i am at the start of my search, i would only look for a frame or frame and (Ritchey) fork in size 20" with straight seat stays only (somehow the s-bend didn't catch me).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Well, my second post will be a bump of my search, which will probably be a very long shot. Nevertheless worth the time if it works out.

Another bump. I was lucky to find a few parts (wheel set, fork, stem) in the meantime. Now all that is missing is the frame.
