20" Kona Hot Frame

The owner, John, told me that he got the bike with decals and removed them right after. He said that he is not a "decal" kind of guy.
He did say that he was surprised that it was not clear coated.
Every Hot that I have owned, 4, besides 1, have been clear coated so you could not remove the decals.
The paint is original so maybe the store assumed it was Aqua? It is a greenish color. I'll post picks this weekend.
The great thing is that I have a P2 already from a 93 Hot that should match up nicely.

Not sure what was up with that.
I had talked to an ex Kona employee that told me some Kona Hots were painted by Teesdale then sent to Kona to be stickered and some came back to Kona to be painted and then Stickered.
Maybe the ones painted by Kona had clear coats?

I did think of you when I opened the box and saw the Catalog.
I think it has to stay with the frame.
If that changes I will let you know.
