your right. the decals do look 94. nasty colours. I think he has had them re-sprayed with new stickers and some jackanory about the history

That's a proper Klein colour - Candy Teal of 1993.
The frames can be from a transitional period of 1993 and 1994 model years when the paintjobs and decals were mixed. I had a 1993 MC1 Attitude that had a Sea & Sky paintjob with new decals and that was its original paint.

And not to forget that Klein had to sell 1993 model frames still in as 1994 models since they had to scrap a whole lotta 1994 frames because that ZipGrip thingy didn't work as it was supposed to be.

The story might be crap though.

that is the way they came from Klein. custom done by Klein for the person who owned them. They aren't resprayed. Did you not read the auction?

I did read the auction, it says they're 90-91 frame sets, but Klein didn't use those decals on their frames until 94-96. just intrigued that's all

well you missed the fact that they are employee frames, which mean they are
custom. Obviously they were oldstock MC1's custom
painted when Klein, changed around 93 94.They are also a newer color. You
asked if i resprayed them. Why would i respray them with personal names on
each frame? and respray NOS frames..I also ask how you can get that done
without being a employee or friend of a higher up at Klein.
