£30 N.O.S. USE RX ShockPost 25mm dia. Length (forgot will get ASAP) with 27mm Black anodised shim.
This was taken out of the box put on a partner’s bike, heads were shock (side to side). It was then removed and put back in the box to be forgotten. As shown, it is like new, the black script has started to fade but minimally. The dark marks by the measurements are from the print it has been wrapped in but I can’t say if you can remove them. The shim has a couple of marks from being used once.
£20 A used what looks like, but I am not sure if it is genuine USE shock post 25mm dia. Length (forgot will get ASAP) with 28.6mm Black plastic shim.
The photos show its condition, the post does have zig zags which you can hide by cleaning, but they are too deep to polish out entirely without going OTT.
The rubber cover has started to go but still looks OK from 5 feet away the clamp works with no damage or distortion.
These can be collected from Oxford (Home) or Farnham (work), or I could drop of in-between, otherwise posted at cost.
Or the best option We need a suspension post to go on our tandem 26mm dia. (Thorn Voyager frame).
