Are these mavic rims :? ,emailed the seller to ask and he got quite shirty about them being mavics powdercoated for some team or other[didnt say which]
I asked why there wasnt any stickers on them :? simple enough question i thought.
Heres what the reply email said-
just because you've never seen them doesn't mean they don't exist. Lots of the top race teams powdercoat Mavic rims to get them to look like the DeeMax rims, or do them red, because they are supposed to be running DTswiss rims. They rims are definately Mavic, but it doesn't say Mavic on them, The company I bought them off powdercoat the mavic rims for their team riders you'll see them on www.mtb-direct.co.uk
