I dont know what the going rates on headsets usually are so...
How much would a 105 run me?

Maybe something tange/stronglight would be good - I dont know too much about headset options. Its for a crusty commuter so don't want anything too expensive/nice

Sorry, that is also over budget. I was thinking I might catch something for £15-20 but maybe I need to go back to the drawing board and do some proper research. I had a quick browse of the forum history and saw a couple 105s for that and also an XT but maybe these were outliers.

I have one of those Stronglights that came with a Mercian frame I rode every day during the pandemic and I must certainly have taken headsets included with frameset purchases for granted. It sure is nice but unfortunately I cannot afford it right now so I wish you glws.
