1999 Team issue Pace Forks.

There was a VERY limited run of the Eddie Irvine Pro Class forks made in 1998.

Btw CB your Pro class are 98 models.

The 99's had a different crown and decals and were a very limited batch built to use up some of the excess parts from the previous production, i worked on them when i started at Pace in 99, together with the Evo2.

There was going to be a Pro Class version of the Evo2 and one set of gold stanchions were made to suit the new design and pressed-in crown, but the idea was dropped as energy was spent on the development of the RC37 and the Airforce.

That makes sense. My manual has "1998 RC-36 Evo Suspension Forks"

on the front. There is then (in typical Pace style) a rather amateur looking (but very endearing) sticker over the "1998" which says "1998-1999"

SO I'm guessing mine were in the last batch of pre pressed crown 36s.

I have got one leg, a seal housing and a brake clamp

So how easy is it to get the seal housing and dropout out of the leg then to get them re-anodised??  (The thought had crossed my mind before I knew you had a leg. :D
