Retro Newbie
1998 Wilderness Trail Bikes WTB Steel Phoenix built by Steve Potts. It has all of its original parts, including an XT drive train, Gravy-built/WTB New Paradigm wheel set, SST 98 saddle, Koski bars and stem. It's a 13.5 (Small) and it's been ridden about a dozen times in fourteen years. It has one scratch on the left seat stay, but its otherwise in excellent condition.

Sorry fella, has to have a firm price shipped in this section, seperate place for Ebay sales, or the Mods will lock the thread down, reading the rules might be a rather good idea first? :P

Thanks for letting me know. I'm new to this Web site and forum. Even finding "the rules" isn't easy. This site needs a lot of help. Anyway, thanks again for letting me know.

Well thank goodness you turned up, it's a wonder this site has survived for as long as it has without your valuable insight.

Maybe you need to be a little less lazy, a little less blinded by the dollars in front of your eyes when you listed your massively overpriced bike and a little more into adding to the community rather than bitching on your first visit.

Good luck on eBay, you'll be unlikely to win many friends on here with a shitty attitude like that.

The rules are at the top of the for sale page look for the thread titled "CLASSIFIED RULES & GUIDANCE". If your still having trouble finding it you can try the search bar in the top right corner of every page on the site.

Pete_MCC:

It would take your local village idiot to not recognize that this Web site is absolutely awful in terms of usabilty and interface.

As for the price on the Phoenix, it is what it is. You seem to think that you know better, and that's fine. I was inside of the WTB building, and standing next to Steve Potts and other WTB folks, when the final parts were being put onto this Phoenix, so perhaps I have a higher value for the bike than the market can support.

I know your type pete_mcc. You linger around forums like this one just waiting to find an axe to grind with anyone. if you want to be a real man, then expose your real name, address, and phone number. People like you love to hide behind their screen names so that they can mouth off, like you have here, without any repercussions. What a loser you are.

Best regards, John

What on earth!

Best regards indeed, pretty poor attitude on display there. I might not have put things as strongly as Pete did but I can only agree with his some of his sentiment.

Have you used the internet before? Because this is pretty much a standard web forum neither better nor worse than 99% out there.

Given the less than pleasant sign off I'm going to lock this. Feel free to relist the frame with a price but I suggest you keep your opinions to yourself.
