I'm selling my 1998 Specialized Stumpjumper M2 Pro, which I have owned since new. It has always been a very reliable and capable bike, which is thanks to its excellent frame and components, such as the handmade M2 Metal Matrix frame, which was made in the USA before production moved to Taiwan, and the Shimano XT front and rear derailleurs. It has been extremely well looked after and has never been stored outside. It has been upgraded since new, so is now fitted with RockShox Reba SL suspension forks with a front disc brake and Mavic wheels. Here's a full breakdown of this bike: Frame: M2 Metal Matrix, handmade in the USA, size medium (17" from bottom bracket to top of seat tube). Forks: RockShox Reba SL Front Wheel: Mavic X618 Rim on Shimano XT Hub Rear Wheel: Mavic XC717 Rim on Shimano LX Hub Tyres: Panaracer Fire XC Pro, 26" x 2.1" Front Derailleur; Shimano XT Rear Derailleur: Shimano XT Crankset: SRAM (not sure of exact model) Number of Gears: 24 Front Brake: Hope Hydraulic Disc with 180mm Shimano Rotor Rear Brake: Shimano XT V-Brake Handlebar: Easton EA50 Monkey Bar Handlebar Grips: Ergon (very comfortable) Pedals: Shimano SPD Saddle: Fabric £375.00 I also have the original red Manitou Answer Forks, original flat handlebar, original saddle, a Shock Pump and some spare (new) 26" inner tubes, all of which I'm happy to include with the bike. Collection from Horsham, West Sussex. |
