I'm having a clearout! As you can see from my other auctions
By the time i'm done I should just be left with my singlespeed GT to keep me busy.......
I love this bike so i'm in no huge rush to sell her.. but here is the spec if you are genuinely interested.
1998 Kona King Kahuna titanium frame, it's the more expensive KK and not the Hei Hei but has both stickers on it. It's a 19" frame. You can tell it's a King Kahuna from the gusseting I believe, which the Hei Hei model lacked.
All in it's a supremely light and agile XC bike, accelerates like a rocket!
It's a real head turner and I often get asked about it when I go up Llandegla.
Pace RC36 Evo II carbon forks - I think about 80mm travel, still very smooth!
Hope C2 Hydraulic brakes (with torsion bar for rear)
Hope titanium hubs with Mavic rims
Carbon Bontrager handlebars
titanium "equippe ti" stem
XTR front mech
XT rear mech
XTR rear shifter
SRAM gripshift front shifter
XT chainset + cassette
Carbon seatpost
Titanium railed seat
I'm looking for ........ £900 which I think is fair given the rarity of the frame and the nice spec of the bike.
I'm based in Chester.
