Retro Newbie
Hi there,
Great to see another newbie at it, good luck with the Hahanna build.
I'm in the same boat (following an incident at a set of traffic lights, another cyclist on a shiny new bike actually laughed out loud at the state of my Cinder Cone.....until i smoked him
...) so i have decided to take her in to the modern era, upgrading some components but refurbishing most. 1999 Kona Cinder Cone (owned from new).
The bike currently have makeshift forks, worn down gear teeth and standard components thereafter.
Brilliant link to Aldi -they are selling a bike tool kit which includes chain whip and some specialist removal tools, i will be taking a trip there on Sunday.
Advice may be required....pics to be uploaded regularly.
Cheers,
Ian
