1998 Ibis Szazbo in Warm Beer Metallic

Not my bike now but I bought the frame recently,NOS from '98 , and my friend asked me to build it up for him. Most of the parts will come from a lightly used Alibi which became the "donor" bike including the SID in the pics. Those Spin wheels I had for years and never found a use for them but my friend had an aversion to spokes, so it worked out well in the end, just not my idea of a great riding wheel.

Well the bike got finished a few months ago but we finally got time to take some pictures. I think the bike turned out great, my friend is completely stoked.

Re:

Nice bike, very nice !

I just received my frame and I'm wandering the diameter of the seatpost. Can you help me ?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
nicolas.

most of the old ibis were 28.6 seatpost. double check as I dont have a szazbo. I have three other ibis including a bowti and I always fancied a go on one of these Szazbo's. They look like a plumbers nightmare but with a bowTi i cant be critical. I like the tyres and fork, you brought the forks into it very nicely with that one.
