1998 Claud Butler Cape Wrath

I've just picked one of these up and I was wondering how much appeal they had for the retro crowd? Also does anyone know what the spec was on these bikes? I've not been able to find anything on Google. I know they were CB's top end bike at the time so I'm guessing it was pretty good? It looks like it's in top original condition so not sure it it's a collectors item or just something for the parts bin. Any info would be hugely appreciated?

The frames and drivetrain were hard to fault but the Zoom finishing kit was always a bit naff. The bars werent quite riser and not quite flat and always seemed too narrow. Those forks are not great either but easily fixed into a nice lightweight cross country steel.

Any idea what the drive train is the on it? I'm assuming LX?
