1997 Univega 304 Rover seatpost size

Can anyone shed any light on the seatpost size for my Univega Rover 304. I think it's a 1997.

27.0 is too big, read somewhere it could be 26.4 but nothing definitive.

Buy a digital caliper, you won’t be sorry. Cheap enough for a middle grade one. you’ll use it all the time. I have two, bottom grade an a step down from the best. I got rid of my analog ones.

I had a Alpina frame and I think the seatpost was 26.6 from memory? That and it had a 1" steerer that caused me a headache with stem options at the time...
