1997 softride rare ????

Just purchased this little gem today been locked in a warm dry shed for 20 years and is almost immaculate and unmolesterd
Lx /xt/stx rc fox shock erly rock shocks
What’s it worth ?? To big for me so would be interested in swapping for something different and cool .. gt rts / sts /sanadras/downhill rig ??
What’s peoples opinion be interested to know

The frame is nicer than most Softrides, I think quite rare, there is a lot of different things going on on there too. I think the frame is older than 97 due to it having cable stops for cantilevers, I would strip it to frame only, put some more suitable forks on it, those front forks have limited travel so the ride will be un-balanced, then you could go full aheadset or full threaded/quill, not the awful compromise that is fitted. Get some black LX parts, chainsets and cantilevers can be picked up cheaply on here, and ditch the barends they have no place on riser bars, of course another option is to split it and sell the individual parts, or do as Magpiegifts says... Still ditching the bar ends...
