The south east of the country until this weekend has been hopeless weather wise for weeks.

Wow! i had no idea as we haven't really seen any rain here for a fortnight and the south of the country normally gets more sun than we do up in the NW so i wasn't expecting to read that tbh and hopefully the nice weather will make a good effort down your way " fingers crossed " ;) .

Yup, I can confirm it's bloomin luvverly in these parts 8) Just thought I'd join in for a gloat...

Bike's looking nice too, you can grind it through any muck you like you know - that's half of the appeal of ti! Bringing it to Cut Gate next Saturday?

Don't go boasting about it elpedro as you know how fickle the weather can be in our neck of the woods mate  ..

Re:

I have to admit the last couple of days have been a stark contrast to the last week which has been cold, overcast and rainy, even Saturday morning was wet and dark when I went to work :-(
Not much in the way of bicycle antics went on today, been waiting for a call to collect my car from a friends garage most of the morning and got sidetracked into car stuff, found the original rear inner tube which I reused yesterday has decided not to hold air anymore as it's gone down now annoyingly, so I sourced a couple of new ones and I'll replace that tomorrow night and take the crankset off and strip that to give it a proper clean as it's bugging me!
Cleaned my modern OnOne this aft which had been covered in sheep crap from our Millington ride last weekend I think it was.
Not sure about next sat elpedro I'm afraid as Saturdays aren't brilliant for me unfortunately, plus I've heard cut gate is supposed to be pretty demanding and I wouldn't want to hurt the old girl haha ;-)
