1997 Moots YBB - BETTER PICS! - Today! (Pg4)

rode this bad boy on tuesday, such a plush ride, feels like you could ride it all day no problem (if i was fitter  ) one of the nicest bikes i have swung a leg over.

top bike mate

stubbsy :D

Wow, very nice mix of modern and retro.
I love the Paul thumbies.
The geo doesn't seem to have changed much with the modern fork, does it?

If you tighten up the upper coller the rear becomes locked out. You can then ride around to feel how much the suspension is actually working.

I could do I suppose, but I have a ti hard-tail anyway ;) :D I might give it a go though :)

The frame is designed for an 80mm fork iirc and I reckon it would probably be ok with a 100mm as well. I might try it and see, but I'd probably prefer the handling with the 80 anyway :)

Cheers

With something on the way that is going to have the lightweight stuff put on it, the YBB is in a developmental stage

So, it's now got Fox F100 RL forks, set to 80mm. M950 wheel-set with Conti Vertical tyres, a USE Ti seat-post and a different Filte saddle, oh and a Pauls Motolite brake set-up, which is rather nice :)

A few pics.....
