Sale to include the original Marin bottle and some very cool paperwork (confirming date of sale as August 1997). Dibs here first followed by PM, payment by Paypal Gift or cold hard cash.

MY SELLING STUFF POLICY

If I'm selling items they may well be listed on Bikeradar, Retrobike and Ebay simultaneously. For this reason I always ask for dibs in the sale thread, followed by PM. In the unlikely event of two people on different forums wanting the same item at the same time, I'll go by whoever took dibs first. I don't hold items.

when items are on Ebay they will often be listed with a buy-it-now price. This will almost always be more than the asking price on forums because Ebay fees are so high. So, you'll get a better deal on the forum! However, I'll need a non-refundable deposit (or the full amount if I'm shipping) via Paypal gift if you want me to end the Ebay listing. This is just so I don't get stung for more Ebay fees if a buyer changes their mind! Finally, if someone takes an Ebay BIN while we're in negotiations then I'm afraid I have to honour that, as Ebay auctions are legally binding. While this might seem like I'm favouring the Ebay system, I will generally list stuff for sale on forums a couple of days before it hits Ebay, so forum types have a chance to get in first.

Happy buying :)

Cheers Al! My, MTB For Sale is busy nowadays... Monday bump before the auction starts on the Bay tonight.

spanking condition - exactly the same frame as my single speed (unless 97 and 98 were significantly different) nice. wish I could get hold of your water bottle and decal kit

A PM just reminded me... TT length is 56.5cm C to C. The stem is 120mm with what looks like a 10 degree rise.

Both! But if you want it, it's cheaper here than the BIN (£120) on the 'bay. Basically if you buy through Retrobike, I get slightly less money (bad), Retrobike gets a rep as a good forum (good), and Ebay get less money (very good).

PM me...

As I said bike arrived safe and sound, lovingly packed and exactly as described! I took her for her first outing onto the South Downs today and she rode lovely. Did my emails on the laptop whilst watching the horses do their afternoon gallops. Wonderful. Here's a pic, I think she's gonna like it here :)
