Here is my recently acquired King Kahuna. decals by Gil as usual and a fine job was done by the man yet again. As its titanium i thought it would be a shame to hide so much of it under the decals so asked for purely the outline of the lettering only plus they are also a combination of the '95 and '97 decal sets as well. This bike to me is the Ultimate Kona hardtail that i've wanted for a fairly long time. Probably since around the time of its first introduction to the range around '96 i believe which was not long before an idiot ran me over on my Kilauea and totalled it thus starting the drooling over the new bikes in catalogues stage. I couldnt afford one of these at the time as they were £1600 frame only so with the insurance money ended up getting a GT Lightning which i picked up for £1000 NOS with Judys,221s,XT/LX and Kore finishing kit. Anyway my dreams have been realised as i now have this baby in my stable (small cupboard) Comments and criticisms welcomed

8) 8) 8)

I like this a lot - not jealous in the slightest

As above ^^^ nice touch with the decals.

It must weigh naff all in that guise?

Good choice on tensioner too - Its the best I have found for bikes needing one.

I loved my Hei Hei but never rode it SS.

I have a new Joe Murray Ti project on the way though 8)

cheers guys am really pleased with the decals and it is very light but i'm pondering making it 1x9 at the moment just to make it a bit more capable. What i really mean by that is i'm not capable enough on it to take it the rides i want

and so by Joe Murray Ti project do you mean Kona?

going by my bathroom scales its around the 20lbs mark  :D am quite happy with that as i know i could make it a bit lighter if i wanted to
