Great stuff. Posts are tricky to find for Kona’s in silver.

Finally managed to pick up the polished xtr crank arms

Will look bit odd with the pewter coloured chainring but I’m not bothered

They were a right state with heel rub.

Hopefully buttoned up by w/end

Ok fitted the chainring and popped it on bike. Looks ok better than I was expecting

But I’ve only a bawhair clearance on drive side crank arm/chainstay I’ll pop another spacer on

Finished Won’t be troubling Botm any time soon but she’s functional and rides well(will only see cruising duty)

I’m sure I have some O-beam decals for seatpost (ok it’s not an o-beam post

I’ll likely fit a wider riser for improved cruising

Looks great! Nice pic sat next to the Scandal. Been considering one of those myself for a modern steed.

Makes the Scandal almost look Kona’esqe side by side..

Aye I’d heartily recommend the scandal. I bought frame only in sales couple or years back. Built it from spares box but it quickly became my best riding bike so it’s top dawg now

That's ace. Really like it. Especially since it makes me feel better about my ridiculous seatpost heights on my 19"s.

Yup 17” is smallest I can ride 18” is sweet spot. I’m all legs short torso
Does make few folks wince though
