I have an explosif incoming from 1997. Mostly original parts. Some questions have come to mind and I do not have a technical back ground at all so please forgive me.
What, if any parts would you consider upgrading? Thinking mostly silver parts as black seems to deaden the overall look.
I like the original yellow Rock shox forks but also covet the manitou 4’s. Would this be an upgrade?
I am also thinking of dropping the front mech and running a single ring. Does anyone have experience of doing this?
What is the best device / maker to prevent chain slap?
Is it easy to get 26” tubeless tires?
