Please find my mint 97 Cindercone sadly for sale. All original paint and decals (barring forks - see below)
Measures 19" from centre of BB to top of seat tube and approx 17" from centre of BB to top of top tube as it joins seat tube.
In addition to a full nut by nut stripdown and rebuild I did this:
1/replace Kona Race Lite bars with more comfortable Amoeba risers (will include origonal in sale).
2/replace standard Avid V brakes with better quality period Shimano XT M739 V brakes and LX levers
3/new inner and outer cables fitted
4/Indy XC forks replaced with Judy SL's which were professionally repainted and fully stripped and rebuilt (with a little help on here from GT Steve - top bloke!)inc addition of new Kronos springs from USA (elastomers are shite!) and recond alloy damper (replacing leaking plastic one). New fork decals also added.
5/Worn middle ring replaced with a new gold Vuelta 32T alloy replacement (v light and high quality feel, off Ebay!)
6/chain and cassette replaced
7/STX RC long cage r/mech replaced with period XT M739 med cage
8/hubs rebuilt and bearings replaced (standard STC RC with Mavic rims)
9/headset replaced with modern Cane Creek S2 (still have origonal headset if req in sale)
I will be selling the bike with the origonal pedals and origonal blackwall 'Scratch' & 'Sniff' tyres, not the Charge tyres and modern SPD pedals as seen in pictures.
The pics dont do justice at just how clean this bike is and has been fully rebuilt. Ive only ridden it within my yard to tune it. The forks work and look like theyve just come out of the factory!
Ive decided to sell as I dont think my OCD could cope with seeing this bike get mucky and also I have been offered another project so will be using the money to fund that. Wish I could keep this one too!
