Picked up yesterday and For sale today :( please don't ask

1997 18" GT STS-1 Thermoplastic Frame £240 posted SOLD TO STEVETAIT

Frame is in pretty good condition, there is a small amount of chainsuck on the driveside CNC work (see pics). The frame has internal cable routing and is IMHO the cleanest looking of the STS's. Theres no play in the rear and all the bearings look and feel spot on. This is a non disc frame but there are disc adapters out there. The Super Deluxe looks a bit rough but does compress and rebound OK. I've even ordered a NOS Coupe Deluxe for this already from the States  Will polish up lovely and I am gutted I am selling it. I did pick it up for a bargain and it's up for sale for £240 posted. I am making a profit on this BUT this is what I think this frame is worth, I've got three others, know a little bit about the Single Tube System frames and I'm in no rush to sell.

Gil_m does rather nice Decals for these, stuck a few on that I had spare and a new chainstay protector.

I don't want to sell this frame but apparently I've got too many bikes :(

Nice frame (but skint) :(

Have you tried the "well I could be p*ssing my money up the wall, aren't you lucky that I choose to invest in quality carbon and CNC'd bits..."

This the one off ebay?....

if so you should have messaged me and told me to stop bidding on it.... would have got it for less!

For all those PM's about Int Postage.

I'm hoping I can get a box with the following dimensions 120 x 20 x 70 cm. Weight with packaging is probably in the region of 8kg. I can probably get the weight down lower but don't trust it not getting damaged in transit. If you can get some quotes that you're happy with then PM me with the quote and your address details so I can get an accurate quote. Remember you need to take insurance into account as well :(
