There's another thread about this one Geoff. The seller confirmed that the blue was paint, but didn't say more than that. Judging from where it is, I'd say the bike has probably had a new chainstay at some point. And if it had been a warranty job, Argos would have resprayed the whole bike better than new, so it kind of looks like a cut-price effort. From the look of the price, the eBay community wasn't quite sure about it.
