1997 Altitude T.O.

I completely overlooked that the Ti Raceface stem will only fit a steel steerer, where this Judy SL has an aluminium steerer instead. So I'll fit the stem on my older '94 Altitude, as I originally planned. Now only the new silver bar is fitted.

For RF EX stems, there are two sizes. One that fits 1-1/8" steel steerer tubes, and a second smaller adapter that can be used in 1-1/8" alum steerer with thicker diameter tube walls, which can also be used with 1" steel steerer, in combination with a 1-1/8" to 1" stem shim. Which is what I did to use a RF EX Ti stem on my Merlin.

Indeed. I got this stem initially for a steel steerer, on my '94 Altitude. There it fits well. For the alu steerer, you would need a different shim.

Re:

I have some spares if anyone needs parts for them, the only shim I had went to you with the stem though

I got a nice 28.6 Ringle seatcollar in Gold, but unfortunately it looks like it's too small. The original seatcollar measures 30.0mm ID, where the Ringle has an ID of 28.6. I suppose the Ringle 31.8 version is then too wide? Can I stretch the 28.6 so much that it will fit?
