1997/8 Voodoo D-Jab Titanium

chikai

Retro Newbie
Hey Folks,

I have had this bike for about a year now. Found her on Craigslist and couldn't resist. Never owned a Titanium bike before but have heard incredible things.

I rode her all summer with friends that were on All Mountains, and was surprisingly able to keep up...and of course out climb. The Ti frame is so nice to ride on...absorbs the rough stuff nicely...particularly coming from an aluminum Specialized.

Over the winter I have turned her into a road machine. It's snowing today...so very anxious to get her out in the Spring.

It's a 18" or 18.5"

Yeah, no disc...thought about converting the rear...but didn't want to compromise the frame strength.

Yes, yours is a 96. I think they had disc tabs from 2000 onwards, maybe 2001.

I'm not sure whether chikai's frame is 1997 or 98, but I think probably 98 because I think the style with a fatter top tube with low mounting of seat stays came in then. What is the serial number chickai?
