I bought a potential grail bike after seeing a dodgy picture from an unknown seller. Would you buy something from a poor picture like this?

I think it scared away other prospective buyers. Even after asking for better pictures (and getting only slightly more info from more grainy photos), I decided it was worth the roll of the dice. I had been looking for one for the last couple of years, and had finally found one in my size (15"). I am really glad I rolled those bones:

All I have changed is the tires and stem/bar. As badly as I want to 'retro' it up, the build is pretty great as is. But I know I won't be able to help myself, tweaking shall ensue.

The ride quality is indeed living up to the hype...
 
Lovely bike and lovely scenery. Definitely not jealous at all :mrgreen:

That looks damn nice, I can understand you don't want to change the build. That's a perfect ready to ride build, hit the trails first then.. You proba ly wanna do that again :D
 
i'm betting those pictures meant you paid a lot less than the usual rate for them
