1996 Saracen backtrax

Desperately trying to get hold of one of these so would be keen to hear from you if you decide to part with yours. Husband has one and I love it (and it doesn't wreck my knees). Ideally 18 or 19" frame. Thanks.

Have you tried ebay? If no luck here I would (grudgingly) have a peek as they are pretty regularly on their.

Yes, have been watching ebay for a while now and missed the Kendal one (which another RB member got), but all others are too big - I need about an 18" frame. Will keep looking - just thought worth a shot to ask on here.

No offense taken at all! Wasn't really sure quite how to use this site and whether "Newbie" amateur MTB'ers asking for a particular bike (rather than able to participate in the banter) might irritate the rather more serious and informed amongst members... Hopefully, someone might want to pass one on though...saying that, it's a great bike and I can understand why they'd want to hang onto it! Cheers for your encouragement though.. fingers crossed. PS How do I "bump" it every day...do you mean, just check it, or is there something I do to keep my post current? Sorry to be a dullard!

Hi Kirsti, had a quick word with 'er indoors and, unfortunately, she'd not be prepared to part with it - sorry!

Not seen too many Backtrax on ebay in all honesty, but no doubt one will pop up sooner or later, just keep your eyes peeled..!

This looks like a 96 or 97 but with rubbish photo!

Most of the saracen frames in 96-97 were pretty similar from memory so you'd not go far wrong with any. Will check later what catalogues are on here but thought backwoods was towards lower middle range.
