1996 Kona Muni Mula rebuild

A few pics of my beloved Muni Mula getting a make over. For the purists out there, it needed it, I havent unecessarily butchered an otherwise perfect bike.

Refurb included frame blast and powder coat in appliance white. Swapped out Judy XC's for Bomber Z1's. Race face XC BB, cranks, gold Ti chain, SRAM casette and rear mech, XT front mech, Hope seat clamp, headset and skewers. Ritchey comp rim, LX hubs, DT swiss spokes, schwable XC extra light tubes and brand new TIOGA factory XC. Eastern light stem and riser bar. Kona Jack shit grips. SRAM grip shifters. original race face seat stem and seat. Original AVID dial levers and brakes. Some photos here and more to follow. I'm thinking of leaving it without decals.....

They don't build frames as light and nimble as this anymore....

Bit of a v-twin fan I see, a Guzzi from oop North, and is that an 888SP? sorry I`m not an expert on Dukes and its a bit of a hopeful guess

Its not a bad shout given the poor photo. The guzzi V7 I purchased from Rochdale. The bike you thought was a 888SP is a Bimota SB8R SP, so not far off, there is another one there?.... can you tell what it is?....

Sorry cant see the other,my garage was a bit like yours last year perhaps not as exotic though,Sprint ST VFR400R and a GSXR750 along with several mountain bikes,only the GSXR remains among the powered ones.Had a Le Mans Mk2 BITD wish it was still there but whenever I see one theyre skinny wheeled tiny things.

Really liking this build! Would go for decals, IMO.
