1996 Kona Kilauea - re-freshed for 2010?

Loving this bike, although it mught just be me but aren't the decals from different years? Thats me just being really picky, but as i said lovely!

The decals are exact replicas of the 1996 model year. The only change I made was to the colour (changed to yellow) 'Race Light' decal at the back of the top tube.
I did observe once the decals were in place the the colour shade of the replicas was a little lighter than the originals, but that is understandable due to differences in printing.

One more question regarding the decals - sorry. Are they laquered over, or applied after paintwork is complete?

yep, I'll try and do some tonight.
Also got some suspension forks arriving soon and will post the final build then. Really looking forward to going on the next ride and leaving my FS bike at home.

cool i love it a lot......the franky paint job, and the newskool bits awesum i love it, theres a lot going on with the kona thing right now it seems, found a few threads, different people doing different things....i gotta and old alloy kona, sadly not steel, but with all the talk of refurbs i might get tempted to do something with it...........? maybe single speed :?
