1996 GT LTS Thermoplast - Will I ever...





So this'll be the first version to go down my usual route in anger. What I plan on swapping asap is the seat and post, the rear rim (or a different set of wheels entirely), the tyres?, pedals. And of course the brakes. They will hopefully be Syncros, Flite, Mavic or Spinergy. Not sure about the brakes yet. Avid Arch maybe?

I do still have the original shock and it's in good nic.

But I like air springs and I like experiments. So I did what I did...

What I don't understand is the trunnion part. My frame doesn't have that. And they are not interchangable, I don't think.
Or can you mount the trunnion mount to the lower mounting point?
If that's the case, that might be interesting indeed.

First test drive. Bike needs a lot of tweeking still. Fork looses most of its air over a few days...

But overall , I'm happy. The bikes rides really smooth.
