See, I am convinced I bought my green Tange Ultimate Explosif in '93, but the catalogue says it was a '94! Can't argue with the facts, but makes me think I am going mad!

Kona repeated the mistake by making the 98 Kilauea in Reynolds 631 but in an awful yellow. Now you really don't see many of those!

I've seen plenty of 98 Kilaueas but every single one had been resprayed! 'whom the Gods would destroy, first they make ridiculous'.

Maybe you did, it probably went on sale Sep 93. Doesn't mean you're not going mad of course

Yes, even aluminium flat bars in silver are going for £20+ now, if they're 'name' like ControlTech, Pace Renthal, especially Syncros

Plasma.............i can't remember if i got mine kinda sept 93 or not but i do remember that some of those models had a prestiege rear end and some didn't, mine did. I think Kona changed it early in production. The regular cromo rear end was rounder at the seat stay tops and the top tube weld and seat stay welds were closer together.
