Lovely bike but my back hurts just looking at it.
I get that comment quite often, but I don't quite get it.
I've got my fair share of back problems, but it always feels better after a ride. I hop on, lean forward a bit to plant my hands on the bars, and enjoy having zero pressure on my lower back
I remembered that I had a Softride stem lying around, and decided to try it out yesterday
I was planning on a test run at the local pump track. But it started to rain, so that was a no-go. Instead I cruised some dirt paths in the same area, and got my tyres good and muddy
The handlebar position looks a lot more sensible than with the ridiculously long Ringlé-ish stem. But it just doesn't work for me - My back and shoulders are killing me today

The steering felt a bit weird with the 155mm. stem. So when this 120mm. Ringlé I'd been watching for a few weeks came down to a reasonable price, I decided to grab it.
