Old School Hero
Been meaning to post this up for a while as was helped getting this together by a few guys on here. Had the frame in the shed/garage for the past 7ish years after retiring it after cycling to Slovenia on it. Parts are a combination of spares box, Facebook marketplace (forks) and on here, and most of the purple bling was from a donor bike that had been driven into by the previous owner (leant against back of garage...).
Spec is by no means a "dream build" but as close to how I dreamed of having it when I originally had it build up as my primary MTBT 10 or so years ago - having always loved the purple/turquoise colour combo. And I know the pace forks are technically too new, visually they are close enough for me and actually work as decent suspension forks! Also I know thumbies are too old but much prefer them to 90's quickfire shifters!
