1995 orange p7

The purple bars don't look to shabby in the flesh to be honest.....and it rides so nice like this that I don't want to change them.....

I know its a better look with flat bars, and I could fit some bar ends then, but these were period upgrades by the original owner and I don't want to change them.......If I didn't have the original forks in the indy box that I got when I bought the bike, I probably wouldn't have changed those either......I'm funny like that!!

Blimey!

Did they snap or bend?

Lucky I'm too fat for endo stuff....:0)

Snapped clean off around the leg tubes just below the crown welds.

They were one of the first production pairs (I had the first P7 supplied to Leisure Lakes) and the replacements Orange sent never snapped, although they did get replaced with RC-36.

I was a teenager so of course used the bike for everything from jumping off walls to dirt jumps to XC races to rolling endos.... That bike took some abuse.

A mate a bit later "stretched" the down tube of his C-16R, that was very weird.
