Sorry to people who had provisionally shown interest in parts from this, but Dad has stepped in and said he wants it kept intact and sell it as is... So, I have been out to take some shots of it.
The bike is a 1995 Marin Indian Fire Trail in mostly oem state still. I do not know the frame size but I think with my Dad being short it is a 17.5", but tell me where to measure and I will verify this. Could be a 19" as it is comfortable for me to ride @ 6'1"
Loads of pics below, but essentially it is a decent, very light, alloy frame which could do with some sprucing up. Was going to be something I attempted but not any more. The changes from oem spec include a fatter saddle (Dad didn't get on with the original Marin one) and Front & Rear wheels/tyres. Full XT drivetrain, and original. Original Marin lite brakes, bar, stem, bar-ends, forks, etc.
The bike rides fine and I still use it for my 1 mile commute to work when the sun is out. Uphills are easy as the thing is so damn light! Gears/shifters seem to work fine, brakes are still powerful enough for me given their traditional style. Better make sure the proflex is back up & running soon though if this goes!
The bike is located in Exmouth, Devon, and I won't consider any kind of posting due to shape, etc. However, I am in Bristol next Sunday, and in the Midlands the weekend of 25th/26th June for a car-show. I can bring the bike with me on either day and deliver it. I am also at Santa Pod on 11th July.
