1995 Kona Kilauea frame- 18" restored, new price!

Neil, not an expert on the geometry, but I expect it is the same as the Hei Hei. Might be a good question to put to the forum folks. As for the 100mm forks, I find these really make a difference. Gives that much more cushion and downhill confidence than an 80mm fork and no compromise on the handling uphill that I can tell. In fact with lockout I find it's better for those hard pushes too. A

PS. I used to have a 1995 Hei Hei and the Kilauea definately has that great spring and geometry, but you just can't beat the Hei Hei! :)

pm'd you a couple of days ago about this and got no response at all :? I would have given you £250+ for just the frame which is over the odds but as I'm just about to do something very similar with a Kona frame it would have saved me the hassle

Too late now as my frames being picked up this morning

I know, I've got one and I rode it at the weekend and was blown away by it...only issue is brakes really as it wouldn't be a goer in the mud etc.

Have toyed with the idea of disk tabs & guides on it but would be easier just to find a frame with it done already.

How much are you willing to let the frame go for?

Yes, that was the issue I had - one ride at Afon Forest and my brake pads had died halfway through. Useless! I also looked into disc mount etc, but way too expensive!

Just responded to your pm BTW.
